Turner Construction 6686体育官方入口 proudly announces that Kate Van Zeyl, Vice President and General Manager, has been recognized as a 2025 Construction Champion by Construction Dive.
“I have been inspired by architecture from a young age,” reflected Kate. “But my true passion is in construction — seeing projects come to life and understanding their impact on job creation and economic growth.”
As Vice President and General Manager of Turner’s Chicago operations, Kate leads some of the Midwest’s most transformative projects, including the modernization of O’Hare International Airport and the University of Chicago Cancer Center. She also represents Turner in Lakeside Alliance, the joint venture responsible for constructing the Obama Presidential Center.
Beyond her leadership at Turner, Kate is a dedicated advocate for advancing women in construction. She actively supports the ACE Mentor Program and co-founded the Chicago chapter of Professional Women in Construction in 2021, a national nonprofit dedicated to promoting diversity in the AEC industry.
