Turner Construction 6686体育官方入口 was chosen to build an $80 million behavioral health hospital in Malden, Massachusetts. The hospital is a partnership between Tufts Medicine and Acadia Healthcare 6686体育官方入口. The partners joined together to mark the beginning of construction on the project with a groundbreaking ceremony.
The four-story, 144-bed behavioral health hospital will offer inpatient behavioral healthcare and intensive outpatient programs. It will provide care needed to support patients and their families. The hospital will also serve as a teaching hospital for behavioral health professionals, students, and residents from Tufts University School of Medicine.
“We are proud to begin work on this state-of-the-art facility,” said , Regional Healthcare Director & Construction Executive, Turner Construction 6686体育官方入口. “This project will result in a much-needed increase in access to care for residents of Malden and the surrounding communities. We are eager to continue working with Tufts Medicine, Acadia Healthcare 6686体育官方入口, Stengel Hill Architecture, and our trade partners as we move towards the completion of this project.”
The 106,000-square-foot hospital is expected to open in Fall 2025.
